We value your trust and want you to feel comfortable with our policies. These guidelines are in place to ensure fairness, respect for everyone’s time, and to support the highest quality of care. Insurance & Superbills
We are not in-network with insurance providers.
As a courtesy, we provide a superbill (claim form) that includes all required procedural and diagnostic codes for you to submit to your insurance company.
To learn about out-of-network acupuncture benefits and claim submission, please call the member services number on the back of your insurance card.
Payment at Time of Service
Payment is due at the time of service.
We accept: Cash, Checks, Credit cards (including FSA & HSA cards), Debit cards.
Bank transfers are not accepted at this time.
Appointment Reminders
Patients receive both text and email reminders at 48 hours and 24 hours before each scheduled appointment.
Reminders are a courtesy. You are ultimately responsible for keeping track of your appointments.
Important: Do not reply to text reminders. To cancel or reschedule, you must use the patient portal, or contact the office directly by phone or email.
Cancellation & Missed Appointments
Your appointment time is reserved just for you.
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled through the patient portal, or by contacting the office directly by phone or email.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or reschedule, whether completed through the patient portal or by contacting the office.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged the full treatment fee.
There are no one-time waived missed appointments.
Cancellation and missed-appointment fees are due prior to your next scheduled appointment.
Important: FSA & HSA cards cannot be used for cancellation or missed-appointment fees, as those funds are reserved for treatment services.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a missed appointment and charged the full treatment fee.
Patients arriving late (but within 15 minutes) will receive the remainder of their scheduled treatment time.
Product Sales (Herbs & Supplements)
We use Fullscript to recommend and provide herbs and supplements tailored to your health plan. Recommendations are sent directly from Fullscript.
Through our practice’s partnership with Fullscript, you receive a 10% discount on all items purchased through the site.
Unopened products delivered within the last 30 days may be returned directly to Fullscript.
Returns must be initiated with Fullscript; they will provide an RMA and return shipping instructions.
Refunds are issued 5-10 business days after Fullscript receives the returned products, and refunds are applied to the original payment method.
Shipping costs are generally non-refundable, unless Fullscript or the courier is at fault.
Privacy & Security
Your privacy is important to us. All personal health and financial information is kept confidential and secure in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Any payment information you provide is handled through a secure payment processing system.
We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
